Post Doc position open

The Börjesson group has develop a novel method to synthesise smooth, self-supporting, crystalline covalent organic frameworks. As a Post Doc scholar, you will take advantage of the developed method, perfecting it, and finding new applications within the context of COF membranes. You will work independently as well as in a team, specialised on COFs.

The successful applicant should have a background in materials chemistry or similar. Previous experience within applications, characterisation, and synthesis of COF or MOF is a strong merit, as well as experience in other areas relevant to COF applications such as photoelectrochemical cells, optoelectronics, catalysis, and sensing.

Master thesis projects

We can offer a number of exciting master thesis projects, example in the areas of:

  • Strong coupling between molecules and vacuum fields
  • Energy transfer dyads
  • Spin effect of Förster type energy transfer

In these projects the student will work within the areas of organic synthesis and optical spectroscopy.
